Tomorrow The Council of the District of Columbia is hosting a hearing for testimony from over 150 community members and organizations about their bill decriminalizing portions of the sex trade, including sex buyers and informal brothels.

The hearing will be live-streamed for those of you who can’t attend in person. Our CEO Rochelle Keyhan is testifying in the first panel in the morning (10a – 12p) and will livetweet until she has to leave for her flight around 12pm.

If you watch online – please consider live-tweeting and raising awareness of the various points of view expressed. Please also let council members know you want safer conditions for people in the sex trade – but that we cannot legalize buying and brothels. #ProtectSurvivorsNOTBuyers
